| I recently purchased Family Tree Maker 2008 and Passages Express. I found out the two are not compatible. Is there an update or way I can make the two compatible? Has anyone else had this issue? If so how did you fix it? |

Hi,
I thought I'd seen this recently.
It's up in announcements. Looks like they are running a bit behind on this, as the announcement was posted Oct 9. It probably won't be long, though before it's ready.
Here's what the announcement said:

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The import function for Family Tree Maker 2008 will hopefully be ready and be an 'update' within about a week. We were ready with what the Family Tree Maker people had told us to do well ahead of time. When they finally got testing the Passage Express product on their end, they found they had neglected to tell us of a major change in the way it was to work and to be programmed. We had to do some starting over to get back into it. I apologize for any problems this has caused. _________________ Terry - volunteer forum monitor |
