|
|
In my project I have created a slide show which contains a number of text slides inserted throughout the show. I have discovered my selection of a specific font for use in the text slides has no effect on the font that is displayed when the slide show is played. That is, it seems to make no difference which font I select for the text slides the font I select is not displayed when I test or play the slide show. After making my selections I am careful to save my selections and even restart my computer. Any suggestions? _________________ Bernie |

Hi Bernie,
I'm going to have to play with this later and see if I find the same thing.
Are you talking about a slide show that you make on CD or DVD?
If it's on CD - you are then playing it on the same computer that created it?
How about color and such - can you change those on the text?

Yes, the show project I am working with is still on my computer. Although my end goal is to produce a CD or DVD for computer use. I am able to change colors just fine. When I make the text change on the editing screen the change shows up just fine. But when I run the slideshow "test" on my computer the text changes are not visible. Regardless of how I change the text it always looks the same when I test the slideshow.
I have produced at least two dozen previous shows without experiencing this problem. I am running version 2.2.39 and I check for updates every couple of days.
Every once in awhile I find an update is available and I always download and install it. However it is always a little troubling to me not knowing the purpose of the update that is installed. So I guess it is possible that one of the updates has contributed to my text problem but I have no way of knowing. _________________ Bernie |

Bernie,
I found the same thing. I'll see if I can find out more about it.

I'm happy to know that it is not just a problem with my activities. It may be useful for you to know that I never experienced this problem some months ago when I first began to use PE. So I'm wondering if one of the interim "updates" might be suspect. _________________ Bernie |
