I've finally managed to import an AQ file with each person having their own folder.

Unfortunately, most of the folders have the wrong contents - i.e. they contain images that should be in the folders of other people, but those folders do necessarily not exist.

e.g. The only contents for my mother are the death certificate of my paternal grandmother's father, while his folder contains only a census scan showing my 1st cousin 4 times removed.

I have checked that they are all correctly linked within the AQ file.

Best wishes

Tracy

Earlier I had been using the option to put everything into one folder. I just tried the separate folder option with my AQ test file and it correctly placed the images into each folder.

Where do you find this seperate folder option? I seem to be overlooking it, or something ...

the BB kept saying it was an error with Debug Mode indicated -- never indicated that it had been posted, so i kept trying.

Got that same meesage for this post -- Help?

"Ran into problems sending Mail. Response: 502 unimplemented (#5.5.1)

DEBUG MODE

Line : 125
File : smtp.php"

PS: maybe someday I'll learn how to spell -- separate

Maybe I can delete some of the extras ... [nope - the Delete checkbox is missing on the edit screen]

Bill, after you select how many generations of ancestors and descendants (if you chose to import a selective group) or after you select everyone, you have the option to include pictures, sound and video. Below that is the folders options. The screen is labeled "other settings."

If you check the Preserve multimedia links box, you don't get the folders option.

By unchecking, I seemed to have all the folders I expected, named appropriately, with the correct contents.

When I got back to the Project Builder screen though, it was locked up -- closing and then reopening that screen seemed to free it up though.
